TERRI LAINE

Terri rediscovered her passion for photography while pursuing the sport of rowing on Lake Casitas. Waking up at the crack of dawn three days of week kindled an intimate relationship with Lake Casitas, its spectacular sunrises, unique flora and fauna and the sport of rowing itself. By serendipity, she also discovered she was recording the current drought via a thirty foot tree which was initially hidden underneath the waters of the lake and is currently several hundred yards inland in the midst of a parking lot.

Terri grew up in a family of profession photographers and mostly learned the art by osmosis but later attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where she earned a degree in photography. She has spent her career at Patagonia in visual merchandising and currently is a brand archivist for the company.
